25 Things you didn’t know about me…
You thought you knew me…well, here’s a few things that may surprise you:
- I was a licensed train Engineer and conductor/brakeman when I was 23 years old.
- I was a cheerleader in grade school.
- I ran 5 marathons.
- I am a die-hard Cornhusker football fan.
- I’m scared of driving in a foreign country…passenger or driver.
- I lived in the same house for 18 years growing up.
- I loved the movie Babe. Yes, the one about the pig.
- I’m addicted to Dancing With the Stars and desperately want to be a ballroom dancer, yet I have no dancing talent.
- I tried out for Survivor once…no, I didn’t make it…duh.
- I’ve never broken a bone or had to get stitches…yes, this will now jinx me I’m sure.
- I still have 2 baby teeth.
- If I hadn’t started traveling, I was starting to get into the amateur boxing circuit. I love to hit things…really hard.
- I rarely read books…maybe 2 books a year if I’m lucky.
- I worked at a fast food taco place all through college to help pay for my tuition and get free food. It was there where I learned how to use a beer bong.
- I’m losing my hair…yeah – as if being 40 and having small boobs wasn’t a big enough problem.
- I used to be a fashionista…then I started traveling.
- I played with Barbies until I was about 13.
- I’m not religious, but pray every time I take off in a plane.
- I love jello shots…I won’t throw a party without them.
- I once managed to go on two dates in one night….those were the good ole’ days.
- I never, ever once heard my ‘clock’ ticking – never had a desire to have kids.
- I didn’t summit Kilimanjaro, and was sent down on the last day.
- I’m super competitive…I used to take my first dates to a bar where I could play Connect Four. If they beat me I’d consider going out with them again.
- The only regrets I have is that I didn’t learn another language in school, didn’t study abroad in college, and never learned how to ski.
- I love costume/theme parties…especially if they include jello shots.
