Everywhere you look at this time of year you find hearts; reminding you that love surrounds you – or maybe simply reminding you that Valentine’s day is fast approaching! I’ve been photographing hearts around the world and have put together this collection in honor of the upcoming lovely holiday. These hearts come from artists and mother nature – the greatest artist of all I suppose. They come from the San Francisco, Vietnam, Jordan, Hawaii, Lebanon, and New York City. Some were found in unexpected places, but the heart symbol is understood and ‘loved’ around the world!
Where have you found unexpected love?
What a fun spin on Valentine’s. I’m curious: where is the rock heart?
The Rock heart is from Jordan I believe – around Petra!
LOVE this! Valentine’s Day is such a commercial nightmare – this is what it’s all about. 🙂
What a great post Sherry, I love the soap print.
Sherry your photos are so cool. I heart them too!
I love the natural eroded and rock hearts. Thanks for sharing.
Loved seeing hearts all across Austria…
I’m going to Austria (Vienna) for the first time next month – very excited! I will check out your writing about it!
A little late I am afraid but thought you may like to add to your collection.

Thanks – a beautiful shot!
Heart these! I have a beautiful ice heart shot from Franz Josef Glacier, I’ll post it someday.
Your grass heart is great – when you’re in Vienna have a trip out to Steiermark (Styria)- Graz isn’t too far away and it’s the capital of the region. The province is called the green heart of Austria – the logo is literally a green heart!
Excellent tip – thanks!
Wonderful photographs! I love the decorated gingerbread hearts at the markets and Oktoberfest in Munich.
